How to Use Our Services

All services are on an appointment basis.  Same-day service is usually available however, please call for an appointment.  Surgeries are scheduled Monday through Friday, with the animal going home the day after (there are exceptions with certain procedures).  Emergency Clinic located at 1800 Prescott Rd. Modesto, California 95350 Phone: (209) 527-8844) .   Emergencies during regular hours are seen at the clinics.

How much will it cost?

Fees charged cover the cost of treatment, equipment, drugs, admin, etc.  The medical requirements of each patient will vary with their problems.  If you are concerned about the cost of the health care, please discuss it with the veterinarian before treatment is begun.  If hospitalization is needed, a deposit will be required.  The balance is due when the animal is discharged.

Our Facilities

All our hospitals are full service facilities to meet the needs of our patients.   We have surgery rooms, pharmacies, laboratory services, x-ray units, patient wards, medical grooming, and bathing.  We offer boarding at the Standiford Veterinary Clinic and the Modesto Veterinary Hospital.

Our hospitals offer veterinary services to all companion animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, and birds.  We are pleased to be able to offer to our clients a broad spectrum of services to meet their pets needs.

Special Plans

For our younger patients, to start them off on the right paw, we offer the Puppy and Kitten Vaccination Plans.  The Puppy Plan includes all vaccinations needed to properly insure adequate protection from distemper virus, parvo virus, corona virus, leptospirosis, hepatitis, parainfluenza and rabies.  It also includes deworming for roundworms and a fecal check for parasites.  The Kitten Plan, also avalible to older nonvaccinated cats, includes vaccination protection against feline distemper, calivirus, rhinotrachetitis, chlymidia, and rabies.  Further, all cats are tested for the feline leukemia virus, and vaccinated if found negative.  Also included are deworming and a fecal check.

For our older patients it is important to periodically check the heart, liver, kidney functions, etc.  The cost of these tests, individually, can become expensive.  Because we feel these tests are so important to the overall health of the senior patient, we have created The Senior Plan which screens an animal for problems.

These plans are designed to offer you a savings at 20-25% off of what you would pay for these services on an individual basis.  For more information on these plans please talk to our receptionists.
